More than four decades after helping launch the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Tygers of Pan Tang continue to demonstrate why they remain one of the movement’s most enduring and respected names. “Electrifyed” stands as both a tribute to the genre’s roots and a statement of intent for the present day.
“It’s time to honour the musical movement that we helped to start - the ’New Wave of British Heavy Metal’. This is a brand new Heavy Metal album from us, steeped in the late 70’s, flavoured from the 80’s and ready for consumption right now!” says founder and guitarist Robb Weir.
“Electrifyed” will be released on LP (black vinyl, blue vinyl with white splatter and orange vinyl with blue splatter, each limited to 500 copies), digipack CD and digital formats on 11.09.2026, via Mighty Music.
