Following the acclaimed debut ‘From The Brink Of Infinity’, Whyzdom have signed a deal with Scarlet Records and are proud to present ‘Blind?’, their new album. The band, which is known for their own signature approach to Symphonic Metal, blend once more intricate orchestral parts (including all the subtleties of strings, winds, brass, classical percussions, piano, harp etc.) and a real choir with the power of Heavy Metal. Through a coherence that hides the inherent complexity of this genre, Elvyne Lorient’s passionate melodies immediately stick into your mind, conveying pure emotions right from the very first note she sings.
The album title not only refers to the blindness of people towards what’s happening around them, but also to the fact that we, as humans, often deliberately choose to be blind in many uncomfortable circumstances that eventually lead us on the wrong path of life.

Formed in late 2010 by former Imagika lead guitarist Steven Rice and drummer Wayne DeVecchi, Kill Ritual is completed by former Eldritch guitarist Roberto Proietti, former Dark Angel bassist Danyael Williams and Bay Area vocalist Josh Gibson. Kill Ritual have signed a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their debut album ‘The Serpentine Ritual’, which finds the band unleashing 11 tracks of straight-up metal that is both modern and classic while retaining the legacy of their past bands.
Commented Steven: “After the demise of Imagika, Wayne and I decided to form a new band that would bring life to the music we had been working on after Imagika called it a day. We had a goal in mind of writing music that reflected our influences from Thrash, to Classic, Progressive, Power, whatever-kicks-ass Metal and this required bringing in experienced players that have been there and done that. We were lucky enough to come in contact with Roberto and Danyael, who had the kind of pedigree and experience we were definitely looking for. Having both been in bands that have released numerous albums worldwide and toured extensively, they are a perfect fit for this new band. The missing element was, of course, vocalist Josh, who came into the band with the work ethic, experience and attitude that is essential as a vocalist to help the songs take on a life of their own. So who is this guy ??? the artist… David J Caron???, you may wonder and what is his biography in relation to his musical work.. Well if you really wanna know, he’s an Irish/Italian musician, who grew up in England, now living in Ireland.. his main instrument is the guitar but what he is first and foremost as an artist, is a composer, writer, and producer…But more than this he is an exclusive inventor of unique and innovative, melodic, powerful meaningfulmRock music that exists on a new wavelength and approach, steering away from the mainstream you’ve heard before,. Words used to describe his music have been hard to find, when it does not slot into any one known genre precisely.. “Epic” and “different” have been suggested by some,, whether rightly or wrongly…
Heavy Guitar driven compositions, an intricately designed and arranged mix of power rhythms and single note riffs,sometimes interlaced with secondary underlying melodic patterns of guitar and/or syncopated arpeggio bubbles of complementing synth sounds, powerful and driving yet often unobvious bass-lines. Guitar solos are a purposeful and memorably tuneful inclusion when needed, designed to be as much an equal part of the track as all else in it, and not just an interval from the song in order to include the ever-present commonplace Rock song necessity. He has just released his debut album, which he had been recording for 18 months, a length of time due mainly to the fact that it contains 28 tracks, unheard of for a debut album, but no track of which he felt he could leave off the album, though still priced as a single album. A backlog of songs and themes some of which originated many years previous that he felt he had to finally unveil and unleash to the world, in order to free himself for the next build up of ideas waiting to be born from the cauldron of his incessantly prolific particular mind..

Dave's version of James Brown's "It's a Man's World" (from Meniketti's "On The Blue Side" CD) was selected for the ad campaign for NBC's new daytime chat show "Trisha." The UK's "Queen of Chat," Trisha Goddard comes to America in September. The ads, featuring Dave's version of the tune, run for 20 weeks so if you watch the NBC network, you might catch one of the spots.
LIVE ON iTUNES Due to an unfortunate technological glitch on the side of our digital distributor and iTunes, the digital version of Y&T's new "Live at the Mystic" release was held up from iTunes for six weeks. We're happy to announce that the glitch has been remedied--iTunes is now carrying all the tracks, just as many e-tailers have since the July release. Surely much to the dismay of iTunes and digital retailers the world over, that glitch marks the first time we've experienced the physical CD beating digital to the market. Ain't technology grand?
