 Angel Angelov “Angelo” is the mastermind behind the entire project “Colobar” which he choose from the name of an ancient Bulgarian wizard.
Angel was born in Bulgaria on November 02. 1971 in the old capital Turnovo.
At age 17 he begun to play drums with local trash band called “Tornado”, later as a student in economic university from 1991 to 1996 he was a drummer for another heavy metal band “Absolute” and in that time they managed to record and self release two albums.
After graduating with business and economy major he returned to his home town where he joined as lead guitarist, with another band called “Accident”.
They become quiet popular by playing covers of famous bands in clubs of Norway, Denmark and Greenland.
In the year 2009 Angel begun to put together all of his ideas of composing and making of his own album.
In the search of musicians and singers he ask never less, but one of the best voices in heavy hard rock music, the one and only Carl Sentence (Krokus, Don Airey and Friends).
Base guitar parts were performed by the virtuoso guitarist Konstantin Jambazov from Bulgaria who\\'s known with his solo albums “Precious Experiences” , “Nations”, “Emotion In Motion” and latest one “A Moment From Infinity”.
Another few musicians who took parts of the recordings of this album are Emil Kosturkov – etno keys solo and harmony on “Behind The Veil Of Oblivion”, Kiril Kirilov piano and keys and Radoslav Todorov – piano on “Secrets”.
“Behind The Veil of Oblivion” consist seven very complicated compositions mostly in the progressive rock, prog metal but also woven with delicate touch of eastern european etno motives, fusion and even jazz.
All of this genres have been carefully blended in to one highly professional sound, presenting listeners with one very fine and unique music experience.
